DIGITAL UNDERGROUND

In 1988 Atron Gregory met Digital Underground while working at Ruthless Records and most specifically being the tour manager for all of the Ruthless Acts from JJ Fad, Michelle’, The DOC and NWA. With the experience from Ruthless and Kru’ Cut Records Atron was ready to start his own label TNT Records and later TNT Recordings.

The leader of Digital Underground, Shock G., was/is an incredible artist and he was solicited to design the logo for TNT. You’ll notice the first TNT release underwater rhymes by Digital Underground had the TNT records logo but it was a little different rendition than what became the TNT standard.

TNT Recordings went on to be involved in multiple hit records by Digital Underground and launched the career of the late Tupac Shakur racking up millions in record sales.
